The Bridge Builder

…but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

(Heb. 7: 24-25)

Not just a little. Not just in some things. Not just for now…

Jesus is able to make a full rescue – a rescue complete with an extending-into-eternity warranty.

Jesus died so He could “always lives” to bridge the gap, to put in a good word, to write the letter of recommendation, to pick up the tab, to stand in for the people He loves … the people He died for.

Caked in the filth of the world’s sin, rejected and abandoned by the One He loved –

Jesus died alone

so He could live

forever bridging Hope

between fallen man and perfect God.

Jesus prays for me.

Jesus prays for you.

Someone on our side.

Someone who’s been through the ropes and knows the score, and yet still died with forgiveness on His lips…

Someone who lives

to lead us safely home.

Watering Today: Prov. 14; Ps 14, 114, 134; Isaiah 11-14; Hebrews 7-11

Jesus, thank you. For every day. For every prayer sent my way.
